Popped into Hunworth to see the Dipper again, but it was further away than before. At Salthouse the male Wheatear was still present, although no Stonechats were seen. Onto Kelling were a Red-throated Diver was seen, showing extremely well. It was constantly preening, although no obvious reason for this was apparent and it finally pulled itself up onto the bank. Also here was an impressive flock of 24 Snipe and a single Jack Snipe was flushed by a Sparrowhawk, but quickly disappeared again. The Briston Great Grey Shrike was seen distantly, as were three Buzzards buffeted by the wind.
Two Little Egret were together at Bintree Mill, along with 12 Lapwing, and pairs of Oystercatcher and Shelduck.
