14 1/2 Hours In The Field

With Dave playing catch-up, we started at Great Rybrugh, where the Hoopoe showed well, once located. Two Common Sandpiper and Common Tern, as well as a presumed feral Snow Goose briefly! There was no sign of the Wood Warbler at Mucklebrugh, so we went round the obs, with a few Wheatear the reward! Decided to go and see the Grey-headed Wagtails at West Runton. A couple of birds were seen before 9 'flavas' flew off west to the corn field, at least 3 male and 3 female Grey-heads were amongst them. Kelling produced a Whinchat and 2 Turtle Dove. Various other stops were made, but dragonflies and butterflies produced more interest than birds (although, frustratingly we failed to relocate the Pratincole at Fiary Hills!)
